Enhancing High-Speed Combustion
Scholarship Description
We are looking for a highly motivated student with a strong interest in experimental combustion, spectroscopy, high-speed propulsion or optical engineering for a project involving combustion enhancement. If you have a first-class honours degree, masters degree or equivalent with demonstrated academic achievement, we would like to hear from you. The scholarship provides a tax-free stipend for three years for living expenses, with tuition fees and overseas student health cover paid by the UNSW@ADFA School of Engineering and IT. UNSW@ADFA is very supportive of graduate students, providing resources for students and financial support to attend a relevant international conference during candidature. Applications will be considered on their merits as they are received and we reserve the right to immediately accept a suitably qualified applicant. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from September 13, 2009 until October 31, 2009.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD23700 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years, reviewed annually.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Aerospace engineering or ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY. It is required that your study starts no later than March 31, 2010.
Eligibility
This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
