Scholarship Description

A Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (MQRES) is available in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences for a PhD demonstrating the syngeneity and interpreting the palaeobiology of hydrocarbon biomarkers in the Fortescue Group (2.7 Ga). Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD22500 (per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses, fees and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
